Smansa 60th Anniversary

On November 1st, Smansa will celebrate its 60th anniversary. as usual, there will be so many competition held, mostly the themes are sports and arts. ask me why? Because from this kind of activities, smansa's students can be more and more closer with their friends, maintain their friendship, and of course refresh their mind after almost this 6 months they spend their time only for study, study, and study. You know, smansa never take the days for mid-semesters activities that usually in the other schools used for refreshing their mind.

Instead, smansa celebrate their anniversary in a week. one week without any tasks, assignments, exams, home works or anything that related. although we have to go to school twice a day, it doesn't matter. We are really enjoy it! It is fun to spend your time to decorate your classroom, or do anything together with your friends. We can laugh out loud, although sometimes we're burned by our anger or even euphoria, but at last, it will be such of an unforgettable experience, guys!

Actually there are 22 different competitions held. those are:

7.  Tug of war (i mean tarik tambang)
8. Gerak jalan
9. Kecak Dance
10. Classroom cleanness and also the decoration
11. Broadcaster
12. Pop bali karaoke
13. Balinese story telling
14. News reading
15. Poster
16. Con-temporal music
17. Greeting card
18. News video
19. Estafet gabel
20. Estafet around the town
21. Book review
22. Engrang

But the most attracting are the competition which is involve many people inside such as: kecak dance, gerak jalan, tarik tambang, yel, and con-temporal music. and however, putra putri smansa will always be the most prestigious event.

There's something new on this year anniversary, do you realize it? Yap, this year, there is Kecak Dance Competition between the 'angkatan' (thanks to OSIS for this innovated event). Kecak Dance is not usual performance in north of Bali. it is usually danced in south of Bali like Gianyar or Badung regency. But on this occasion, maybe for the first time Kecak Dance performance in Buleleng Regency (I can say this because I never see it here before).

Well, where's the alumnus? At least until today, i don't see any alumnus come back to Smansa because usually they always come to Smansa on the anniversary.

Overall, this year Smansa Anniversary is just GREAT! Once again, thanks to OSIS for holding this event and manage it run well. Tuwells already done the best. And of course this year we will get good result.
